Intensive English Programme

I am a degree holder in Economics and Finance from University of Thai Chamber of Commerce (local university of Thailand). However, due to the lack of English taught in my country, I decided that I needed to enhance my English skills. From my friends’ word of mouth, I decided to come to RIMA College to pursue my studies. This will enable me to progress in my career. I think RIMA is a very good college because when I came to RIMA College 6 months ago, I could not speak English, and now, here I am, being able to understand and communicate with all my friends from different countries in the college. I love everybody here in RIMA especially my lecturers because they have good methods to teach English which enable me to learn it well.

As I moved into my final year in BSc (Hons) in Business Management, I know well that I have built the required foundation in my business career for I have gained confidence through the knowledge and experience I acquired during my group assignments. I will never forget the time when my group mates and I argued (a friendly one) with our lecturer regarding offer and acceptance (during our Business Law lectures)I am surrounded by supportive lecturers and course mates; not forgetting the management staff; all of whom have helped us tremendously to ensure that things go smoothly. I guess the management knows that we are taking a very challenging course and thus would like to reduce our tension by taking care of other worries for us!I know when I look back in future, the element that I will miss most is the study environment in RIMA College.

NCC Diploma in Computer Studies

"I've had the opportunity to improve my computer skills, learn programming and computing under the supervision of experienced lecturers."I'm a student of the one-year NCC Diploma in Computer Studies. During this year, I have had the opportunity to improve my computer skills, learn programming and computing under the supervision of experienced teachers. The college has a faculty of experienced lecturers and academicians from Bachelor Degree holders to Ph. D. The Computer Centre has the latest and relevant software packages for programmes offered at RIMA. Our centralised computing system is based on Local Area Networked System (LAN) with IBM compatible PC's. This course is not easy, so I have to study hard. Our Principal, Mrs Rama is a very helpful and supportive person helping to build a good atmosphere in the college. I'm sure I will remember my colleagues and teachers from Rima College in Ampang , Kuala Lumpur.

"Rima college has ALL it takes to make you what you want to be à."Rima College has all it takes to make you what you want to be especially if you want to be a world class business executive. This has been achieved by its capacity to undergo a 3+0 programme with the well recognised universities in the UK and theUSA. I find the administrative and academic staff excellent and are ready at all times to give me the needed support, both academically and morally. It is worthwhile to say that if you intend to be a world class administrator or business executive, Rima College is the right place because Rima College is raising intelligent Managers and Administrators.

" The lecturers really motivate me to do my best."As a foreign student from Rima College, I feel like I'm on homeground. Firstly, I chose Rima as I am able to acquire a highly recognised degree from Bradford University. The entire course can be completed in Rima College. In Rima, the lecturers are always with you. They won't leave you to yourself. As a Business & Management student, there are plenty of opportunities to explore myself through projects, group discussions and presentations. The lecturers really motivate me to do my best. My fellow students here are very friendly and co-operative. They like to share their ideas with everyone. Therefore, I feel very comfortable and confident that I will do well in this course.
