Institution Overview

Introduction

Kolej WIT is a leading engineering college and a human resources development technical centre, which provides engineering and vocational and technical skills to help achieve the nation's objective of becoming an industrialized country by the year 2020. The college, established by the Transport Workers Union (TWU) in 1977 at Pandamaran Industrial Estate, presently has another campus in Ipoh, Perak. At Kolej WIT, we offer the BTEC-HND to students, who can then also progress to degree programmes in automotive, electrical & electronic, mechanical engineering and computer studies. The college also options such as diploma to degree programmes for the same fields. Meanwhile, part-time courses are also offered, which include diplomas in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, automotive engineering, electrical & electronic engineering and computer science. We also offer certificate programmes (SKM) in motor vehicle mechanic, electronic industrial technology, wireman, mechatronic, machining, industrial mechanic and computer system analysis. Some 20,000 students have so far graduated from Kolej WIT.
