Introduction

IBBM was established in 1977 as the professional body for the banking and financial services industry in Malaysia. We are the awarding body for banking qualifications and the leading provider of continuing professional development programmes.IBBM is governed by a Council comprising representatives from Bank Negara Malaysia, The Association of Banks in Malaysia, Association of Finance Companies of Malaysia and Association of Merchant Banks in Malaysia.As a professional body, IBBM strives to continuously develop and enhance the knowledge and skills of its members towards professionalism in their career as bankers and financiers.Towards this, IBBM offers a wide range of continuing professional development programmes and a multi-tiered qualification structure.
