Institution Overview

Introduction

Axismatics Professional Institute was established in 1996 by a group of Academicians, Entrepreneurs and Professionals in Malaysia. Dr. Wong Fong Tong, a well-known academician in the local educational field, was the first President of the Institute. Currently, Mr. Tan In Fong is the President of the Institute.The mission of this Institute is to offer professional programmes which equip our students with the fundamental skills and knowledge to become entrepreneurs who possess positive spirit, essential substance and nature of entrepreneurship.Since its very first day, Axismatics Professional Institute has been offering the Fellow of British Dispensing Opticians (FBDO) programme. The Association of British Dispensing Opticians is the awarding institution for the FBDO qualification.

Programme Outline

Fellowship of British Dispensing Opticians Programme

• Studying the essential theoretical knowledge and obtaining practical experience in the optician field. Subjects studied include Optics, Ophthalmic Lenses, Anatomy, Physiology and Visual Optics. Diploma in Management and Practice of Retail Chain Stores
• Studying the essential business and management knowledge of running a retail chain store business. Students can also specialise in the fields of International Business and Management, Financial Management, etc.
