Pusat Latihan Teknologi Tinggi Melaka
or known as ADTEC Melaka (Ad vance
Technology Training Centre) is a
technical training center. Training covers
70% of practical work and the rest are
theory knowledge. It is one out of four similar
institutions around the country governed fully
by the Manpower Department under the
Ministry of Human Resource.
ADTEC Melaka was built in 1998 as part of the 7th Malaysia Plan and was officially launched by 9 ILJTM RMK-7 with Chief Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi and YAB Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Hj Mohd Rustam, Chief Minister of Melaka on 11th January 2003.
ADTEC Melaka is located just 3km from Simpang Ampat Tol Plaza in Taboh Naning Vendor City area and covers a 70 acre per square area in the district of Alor Gajah, Melaka.
Our main business is to provide a formal technical training for the SPM/SPMV and SKM holders. It is our main priority to provide the path for those who want to be trained skill workers in high technology technical fields and those who want to upgrade their knowledge to be coherent with the rapid changing technology and technical skills.
Our vision is to make the organisation excellent in competitive manpower development.
To produce competitive manpower in the organisation and to make the orga nisation excellent in manpower development.
We offer courses of Diploma level in 4 areas. They are:-
The fast economy growth in the country has
encouraged more industries to grow, such as
the production and engineering industries.
Such industries need a lot of experienced
workers. Thus, trainees that study this course
have a great job opportunity. Graduates
after completion of their courses will have
knowledge and skills that are needed as
engineering assistants in the high technology
production field.
Graduates of the Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering can work as Technical Assistant or Assistant Engineer on Mechatronics, Electronics, Mecha nical, Automation and Robotic fields in the industrial sector.
Graduates of the Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering can work as Technical Assistant or Assistant Engineer in the Telecommunication sector.
The Computing and Multimedia sector has developed rapidly in Malaysia as well as globally. Graduates in Computer base technology have a bright future in the computing sector such as multimedia publication, web designing, computer graphic production and many other jobs involving computer-base production.
Our training facilities include the latest equipment and workshops. We have a Multimedia and Resource Centre, airconditioned lecture hall and classroom and special computer labs among others. Recreational facilities such as badminton hall, indoor and outdoor games are also available. However, students need to bring their own sport gears. We also provide accommodation for our students.
Recognition
The program conducted by ADTEC Melaka
is based on National Occupational Skill
Standard (NOSS). All programs will be verified
and endorsed by the National Vocational
Training Council (MLVK).
In addition, students who satisfy all the requirements will also be awarded with a Technology Diploma by the Manpower Department, Ministry of Human Resources.
