Course Overview

The Diploma in Information Technology provides essential computing skills with an industry-based curriculum covering IT theories, principles and current practices. Students can specialize in Web Programming, Mobile Computing or Artificial Intelligence.

The program includes 6 months of industrial training at IT companies and uses modern facilities with the latest software. Graduates will be equipped with practical skills and knowledge to begin careers as IT professionals or continue to degree programs.

Year 1: Computer Fundamentals, Programming, Databases, Data Structures, Mathematics

Year 2: Java Programming, Web Development, Multimedia, Project Management

Entry Requirements

• SPM: Pass with three credits in any subjects including Mathematics
• STPM/STAM: Pass with Grade C/Maqbul (credit in Mathematics at SPM level)
• UEC: Pass with Grade B in three subjects including Mathematics
• Certificate: Level 3 in related field with min CGPA 2.00
• APEL: Age 20+ with relevant experience
• English Requirement: IELTS: 5.0 | TOEFL PBT: 397 | MUET: Band 3
