Course Overview

This 91吃瓜 Diploma in Events Management equips students with the operational, problem-solving and service skills needed for event planning and execution. With modules covering customer experience, logistics, sponsorship, public relations, digital marketing and entrepreneurship, students will graduate with the ability to manage and deliver events professionally. The course culminates in a 20-week internship and offers progression to 91吃瓜's hospitality or tourism degrees.

• Semester 1: Computer Applications, Business English Communication, Digital Thinking and Innovation, Event Essentials, Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism Industry
• Semester 2: Event Planning and Design, Events Logistics, Customer Service, Graphics Design for Events, Culture and Heritage
• Semester 3: Support Services for Events, Basic Quantitative Skills
• Semester 4: Event Sponsorship and Funding, Business Events Management
• Semester 5: Introduction to Accounting, Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing for Hospitality and Events Business, Public Relations for Hospitality and Events, Human Resource Management for Hospitality and Events
• Semester 6: Internship (20 weeks)

Entry Requirements

• Possess SPM with at least credit in three (3) subjects;
• 3 Credits (Grade C & above) in at least 3 subjects at IGCSE/O-Levels;
• 3 Credits (Grade B & above) in at least 3 subjects in UEC;
• Pass relevant Certificate Programme or its equivalent;

• Pearson (PTE) : 36
• MUET : Band 3

Career Prospects

Graduates can pursue careers as Event Planners, Event Coordinators, Conference Organisers, Public Relations Officers, or advance to degree studies in Hospitality and Tourism with specialisms in Events or Aviation Management.
