Varsity set to open its doors

THE countdown has begun. There are fewer than 50 days before the first students begin studying at the University of Reading Malaysia’s outstanding new campus at Educity, Iskandar in Johor.
The opening next month is the most significant milestone yet in the development of the University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM) – an institution designed to bring the best elements of a United Kingdom (UK) university education to the heart of Southeast Asia.
Overseeing all the developments is the university’s provost Prof Tony Downes. He believes the new Malaysian university will offer its students a unique higher education experience.
